About
Nadine Donohoe: architecture first, always in service of living
Nadine Donohoe is the founder and designer of Nadine Donohoe Interiors, an interior architecture and design studio based in Grand Cayman. She trained in Interior Architecture at ALBA, the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts in Beirut and one of the region's most rigorous design schools, then completed a master's degree at Istituto Marangoni in Milan.
That combination shapes everything the studio does. From ALBA came the technical foundation: structure, detail, documentation, and the conviction that an interior is a built thing before it is a styled one. From Milan came the editorial eye, an education in proportion, restraint and material quality in the city that takes those things most seriously.
With more than 13 years of experience, and an extensive body of work in the Cayman Islands, Nadine designs homes where the plan, the light and the materials are considered together from the first sketch. Her projects range from substantial residence renovations to new-build family homes and the transformation of beachfront condominiums, always residential and always personal.
Her belief is that beautiful interiors must first work exceptionally well. Layouts are drawn around real routines; proportion and natural light are treated as materials in their own right; storage is designed, not hoped for; and details are resolved on paper, where changing them is easy. The result is a particular kind of calm: homes that feel effortless because nothing about them was left to chance.
Nadine works collaboratively with clients, architects, contractors and craftspeople, and brings a European design sensibility to Caribbean living: natural materials, quiet colour drawn from the landscape's own range, and an enduring suspicion of anything that would look dated in a decade.
Nadine Donohoe Interiors is, by choice, a boutique studio. Nadine takes on only a handful of projects at a time and stays personally involved in each one, from the first conversation to the final detail. The relationship is close, the process is genuinely intimate, and the finished home reads as one cohesive whole rather than a collection of separate rooms. Clients work directly with the person designing their home, from beginning to end.
She also believes that beautifully considered design should not be reserved for the largest budgets. Nadine works across a wide range of investment levels, bringing the same rigour, restraint and eye to every project, because the luxury lives in the quality of the thinking and the decisions, not simply in the amount spent.

A note from Nadine
A personal note from Nadine Donohoe
I started this studio to work the way I believe homes are actually made well: closely, and with real care. I keep it small on purpose. I take on only a few projects at a time so I can stay involved in every decision, from the first plan to the last detail, and so the people I work with always deal directly with me.
A home is one of the most personal things you will ever invest in, and it deserves to be designed that way: patiently, honestly, and as a single coherent idea rather than a set of separate rooms. I also believe this kind of care shouldn't belong only to the largest budgets; whatever the scale of a project, it gets the same attention, because to me luxury is how considered a home feels, not how much was spent on it.
What I want, more than anything, is for a client to walk into their finished home and feel that it was made entirely for them.
